We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. We all had someone very special to be thankful for.....Miss Nina!! Grandma and Grandpa from Florida were here to help us celebrate along with Great Aunt Lynne, Great Uncle Bob, Cousin Morgan, and Nana and Grand Dad. It was so much fun to have everyone here. Nina was fabulous! She took her naps during mealtimes and was a happy, smiley baby!!

Nina rolled over today for the first time!! She was on her tummy and rolled to her back. She only did it one time, but it was still very exciting!!

Auntie Tracey came to visit this past weekend. We had so much fun!! We went to another Piggies and Paws party, went out for sushi, shopped at Wal-Mart and ate at Chili's. Auntie Tracey was here to help mommy celebrate her 44th birthday and help take care of me, too! She did a great job and I really liked having her here. I can't wait till I can go to the beach and visit her!!

Nina smiled at mommy for the first time this morning!!! It was only one, but Auntie Tracey is my witness that it really did happen!! I can't wait for more!!

Nina is 1 month old today. Wow, does time fly! I can't believe how much she has grown already. She is getting ready to coo at any time now. She has a lot of awake time in the afternoons and loves to do her tummy time. It's been hard without daddy home, but we send him pictures everyday so that he can see how beautiful his little girl is.

Today Nina had a doctor's appointment. Nana went with us to help out in the car on the way there. We met her pediatrician, Dr. Rosengart, for the first time and we really like her. Nina has gained weight and grown an inch over the past two weeks! The doctor checked her out and said that she was doing excellent!! She was such a good girl at the doctor's, too.

Yesterday Nina, Mommy and Nana went to a Piggies and Paws party. The nice lady painted Nina's little foot and stamped it on paper to make cute pictures out of them. Mommy picked out a mermaid and a dragonfly and Nana chose an angel. It was a lot of fun. Nina was great and only fussed a little when the lady washed off her foot with a cold rag. We got to meet Piper but missed our friend Gavin. He was at home napping.

Wow! We can't believe our sweet baby girl is 2 weeks old already. I also can't believe how long it's taken me to get pictures of her on this website, either. We love being parents and are getting to know our little girl better and better each day. She is a wonderful baby and has had lots of visitors. Nana and Grand Dad come almost everyday. Auntie Lanie and cousins Colton and Liv have come for a visit, too. Great Aunt Lynne and Bob came for a visit today and Tess and Dave will be here tomorrow.

We haven't been getting all that much sleep, but are fueled by adrenaline and excitement at having this little miracle actually here with us.

If you haven't been to see us, we would love to have you!

Today Nana and I did some scrapbooking for Nina. We worked together all day to put a book together of our pictures and memories. We are calling it "Expecting Nina" and it will have pictures from the time I found out I was pregnant up until she gets here. We had lots of fun working together and we are both excited to see how it turns out!

Daddy has been working really hard getting Nina's room and everything all ready for her to get here. He stained and hung shelves, put the ottoman together for the glider and put the car seat in. We even went to the hospital yesterday to see where we need to go on the big day. We can't believe it's getting so close!!
