We got a call yesterday letting us know that Nina's furniture was ready to be picked up. We weren't expecting it to be here until May, so it was a wonderful surprise! We borrowed Grand Dad's van and went to pick it up today and had to take most of it out of the boxes to make it fit because the furniture is so big. Dave unloaded it into our living room and he will put it together as soon as he is done painting her room. I can't wait!

We went to the doctor's today. We got to meet Dr. Lombano, the doctor that is going to deliver our little Nina. He is a very nice man and we asked him many questions. He informed us that because I had a fibroid tumor removed from my uterus that a c-section would be the best way for Nina to come into the world. To be honest, I am not at all unhappy. We both just want our little girl to come into this world as healthy as possible.
Comments:Grand Dad: My heart started beating as fast as Nina's - what a miracle! Good news on the delivery method - less strain on both Mom and Nina!Add a comment:

Nina's grandparents from Florida called and made us such sweet, generous offer - They want to help us out and purchase Nina's dresser/changer combo! We are so thankful and fortunate to have such a loving, wonderful family. Nina thanks you both so much!!

After crib shopping last weekend, Dave jumped on craigslist and found us a wonderful stroller. He also started tearing apart the upstairs craft/guest room to get it ready to be our new guest room. I know it sounds confusing, but we decided to give Nina the bigger of the two spare rooms upstairs. So, Dave has been getting them ready so we can paint and put together the nursery. I know we have 5 months left, but with his work schedule, we have to work on things when he is home. We are so excited!!

We went crib shopping yesterday with Nana and Dodo (Grandad). It was quite an experience. We had fun checking out all the different styles and got a lot of information on strollers while we were at it. We finally decided on a beautiful crib and dresser/changer combo. Dodo and Nana were more than generous in helping us out with the crib. Thank you so much!! Nina is going to love it!
