  Daddy has been working really hard getting Nina's room and everything all ready for her to get here. He stained and hung shelves, put the ottoman together for the glider and put the car seat in. We even went to the hospital yesterday to see where we need to go on the big day. We can't believe it's getting so close!!

  Mommy's shower was yesterday and it was fabulous. Lots of family and friends came to help celebrate the coming of our little girl. We had lots of yummy food, played fun games and had a great time hanging out together. We really missed out out-of-town friends and family, too. We wished you could have been there too! Thanks so much to everyone for all their wonderful gifts. We can't wait for Nina to get here!

  Mommy had a doctor's appointment today and all is well. Nina's heartbeat is strong as always and we found out when her birthday will be. She will be born August 16th. Mommy goes into surgery at 11:00 and Nina should make her appearance anytime between 11:30 and 12:00. We are so, so excited. Only 23 more days!!

  Mommy's friend, Hainty (Auntie) Ann, came to visit for a few days. It was so great to see her. We shopped for Nina, washed all her baby clothes and blankets and put everything away to get ready for her arrival. It won't be long now! Only 4 more weeks!!
